sweets sweets and more bitter sweets!

Through the ages men have been notorious as being really bad cooks.
well, to dispel that notion, i decided to put on my apron and throw myself into my food.
It was a lazy sunday afternoon. There was really nothing much to do.
I just love sweets, so i decided to start off with a simple dish.i call it MBC(not as in abc or nbc) but "marie biscuit with chocolate sauce".
its really simple. I remember having it as a young child.remebered the ingredients but couldnt remember the proportions.
I got ready with the ingredients. It may sound like im announcing the prizes in a game show but here they go:
Ingredient No. 1: Cocoa Powder
Ingredient No. 2: Icing Sugar
Ingredient No. 3: Butter
and ofcourse
Ingredient no. 4: A packet of marie biscuits
Like most men, i didnt know what came in what order, neither did i remember the proprtions. so i decided to put all of them in a pan.
2 tablespoons butter,1 cup cocoa powder, 1/4 cup icing sugar, and 1/2 cup water.
i put them on a stove, and began heating on medium flame.
At first, it looked ok.then i could smell burnt chocolate.something was wrong.it was caramelising.
Like my eureka moment, and applying all my laws of physics,it suddenly struck me that maybe i need to cook it in water.maybe i need to boil the water and transfer its heat to the sauce!(i should have realised then that thermodynamics was not exactly my favourite subject)
Anyway, i did it and after a few minutes the colour and aroma seemed to be getting closer to what my nostalgia could remind me of.
but it looked too fluiddy and blobs of caramel were floating on its surface.what have i done!
i composed myself and decided to drain out the excess water.Panic Panic Panic!
i cooked it for 5 more minutes, and just so that things didnt get worse, i decided to remove it from the stove.
I checked it out.was in no mood to have half caramelised, half burned, chocolate water!
i sandwiched the chocolate sauce in between the marie biscuits and popped one into my mouth!
aah!memorable!i will never forget how everything just seemed to stop right there!
i was glad i was still breathing!
i was licking my fingers after that for sure, but the ones that didnt have any chocolate on them.
it was the most disgusting thing i had ever eaten.
Lesson learnt: some things in life are priceless(really who would pay for this!). for everything else there's.....(i dont give free advertisement)
But don't you worry, ill be back in a week with a vengeance to prove that MEN CAN COOK!
Till then please dont spoil your appetite by reading this!
